    If you liked The Three Musketeers you will LOVE this. Its even better honestly. D’Artagnan is older and wiser and the political stuff is really interesting. The formatting is clean and the chapters are well organized. Definitly recomend.

    Dumas really knew how to write historical fiction. The English Civil War parts are fasinating and the way he weaves real events with the musketeers story is brilliant. I docked one star because the middle section drags a little but the ending makes up for it.

    A worthy sequel. The four friends are older but just as entertaining. I liked seeing how their lives turned out after all them years. The EPUB works great on my Kobo. My only gripe is some of the French names are hard to keep track of but thats not the editors fault.

    This book has everything! Sword fights, political intrigue, a prison escape, a beheading, a guy in a mask. I couldnt put it down. 900 pages flew by. The quality of this edition is top notch too.

    Its good but its realllly long. Like 800 pages long. Some parts could have been cut. But I guess thats Dumas for you — he never met a subplot he didnt like. The edition itself is well made though. No complaints about the formatting.
