1. 📱 Reading on Amazon Kindle (E-Readers & Mobile App)
Amazon Kindle devices natively support EPUB files using their Amazon Send to Kindle service.
Method A: The Quick Web Upload (Recommended)
- Download the EPUB file from your Doda Books email onto your computer or smartphone.
- Go to the official Amazon Send to Kindle webpage in your browser.
- Sign in to your Amazon Account linked to your Kindle.
- Drag and drop your EPUB file into the upload box and click Send.
- Turn on your Kindle’s Wi-Fi. The book will automatically appear in your Kindle Library within a few minutes!
Method B: Send via Kindle Email Address
- Locate your unique Kindle email address on your device via Settings → Your Account → Send-to-Kindle Email.
- Log in to your personal Amazon account on a browser, navigate to Preferences → Personal Document Settings, and make sure your personal email is added to your Approved Email List.
- Attach your downloaded EPUB file to an email and send it directly to your unique Kindle email address. Leave the email subject line blank.
2. 🍏 Reading on Apple Devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac)
Apple devices have a built-in reading app called Apple Books that opens your files instantly.
- Open the Doda Books order confirmation email directly on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
- Tap on the attached EPUB file link to download it.
- Your device will automatically ask how you want to open it. Select Apple Books.
- The file will immediately register inside your digital library and automatically sync across your other Apple devices via iCloud.
3. 🤖 Reading on Android Devices (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.)
Android users have multiple great, free reading applications available.
- Download the EPUB file from your delivery email onto your device.
- Head to the Google Play Store and download Google Play Books or Lithium EPUB Reader.
- Open the app, select Import, and choose the downloaded file from your device’s local Downloads folder.
4. 🔗 Reading on Kobo E-Readers
You can easily transfer your DRM-free EPUB files onto any Kobo e-reader using a computer connection.
- Download your EPUB file onto your desktop computer or Mac.
- Turn on your Kobo e-reader and connect it directly to your computer using a standard USB cable.
- On your Kobo screen, click the Connect prompt when it detects your computer connection.
- Open your computer file viewer and look for the external drive named KOBOeReader.
- Drag and drop your downloaded EPUB file directly into that folder.
- Safely Eject the Kobo drive from your computer and unplug the wire. Your new book will be waiting in your Kobo library!
